Firdousa Akhter, hailing from Salia, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, achieved remarkable empowerment through the "KASHIDAKARI" course under the "USTAAD" scheme by "SUMDRISHTI EDUCATION SOCIETY." This training not only made her self-reliant but also opened doors to diverse opportunities, including involvement in Self Help Groups, collaboration with Designer Boutiques, and securing Company Placements. Through her newfound skills, Firdousa not only earns a livelihood but also commands respect from her family and society. Completing the Hand Embroidery (GAR-501) course under this initiative has rendered her self-reliant, with the ability to provide vital financial assistance to her family. Kulveer Singh from Barnala, took a transformative step in his education journey. After leaving studies four years ago to support his family, he learned about the Ministry of Minority Affairs' "NAI MANZIL" scheme by "SUMDRISHTI EDUCATION SOCIETY during mobilization in his area. This scheme offered him the opportunity to resume his education while simultaneously contributing to his family's well-being through employment. Having achieved a commendable 60% in his 10th class, Kulveer pursued a course in Videography and Photography (MEDIA). This not only rekindled his educational aspirations but also opened doors to a promising job. Now, with joy and pride, Kulveer embarks on a new chapter, securing employment with a salary of 10500/month in a world-class HD studio.

Harpreet Kaur, who lives on Bibi Wala Road in Bathinda, went through a big positive change by joining the Sum Drishti Education Society's Ustad program. She learned and completed the Hand Embroidery course (GAR-501), which helped her become self-reliant, meaning she can take care of herself better. Now, because of the skills she gained, Harpreet can also help her family financially. Her family is really happy and proud of her. She learned these skills at the Bansat Bihar center in Bathinda, Punjab. Harpreet's story shows how learning new things and gaining skills can make a big difference in someone's life, helping not only the person but also their family.

Chhoti Bano, a vibrant woman, took part in the "USTTAD" scheme and successfully finished the Tie and Dye course. With the support of Sum Drishti Education Society and effective teaching methods at the center, she gained valuable skills. Chhoti Bano expresses her satisfaction with the program's organization. Before this opportunity, she faced challenges, but her determination to make a name for herself never wavered. Despite facing curfews in Kashmir, she enrolled in a program, passing four out of five subjects. Leaving studies at the 7th class, Haleema embraced Cutting and Tailoring training with Sum Drishti Education Society. Now, equipped with skills, she runs her own business, providing income for her family. Haleema's journey reflects resilience and the positive impact of skill development, showcasing how it empowers individuals and lifts families from tough circumstances.

Nusrat Hameed, residing in Ghanderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, is a bright student and the fourth daughter of Mr. Hameedullah, who works as a driver. Financial constraints due to ongoing strikes in the valley made it challenging for him to afford Nusrat's education fees. However, Nusrat found an opportunity to restart her studies and enrolled in a Data Entry Operator (DEO) skill training program by Sum Drishti Education Society. Nusrat not only passed the program but also secured a job as a Receptionist at Hotel Spring Valley. This achievement brought immense joy to her father, Mr. Hameedullah, who is overjoyed by his daughter's success. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of skill development programs in providing opportunities for education and employment, even in challenging circumstances. Mr. Hameedullah now eagerly awaits similar chances for his other three children, hopeful for a brighter future for his entire family.
